Maddie's New Toy

Special thank you to Temptations and Influenster for sending us a free toy for Maddie to enjoy.  Influenster sent us the toy for testing purposes and I am happy to report that it was a success!  To learn more about the company or to join, please visit www.influenster.com

Maddie was very excited to open her box because she could smell the treats through the cardboard!

When we finally opened it up, Maddie dove right in to explore.  Influenster included a "Snacky Mouse" toy and a bag of treats.

After about five minutes of chasing the toy around, Maddie figured out that she could knock the toy back and forth and treats appeared.

See you next time!

Maddie's March Fun

Maddie is now on Instagram!

If you are on Instagram, follow @MaddieTheBlindCat to see all of her mini adventures!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Whenever Maddie hears a camera click, she clicks into supermodel mode.  She loved playing with the giant decoration because the bottom crinkled like her favorite toys.  It can be difficult to capture her adorable personality on film; however, these photos came very close.  You can expect more holiday themed photoshoots in the months to come!

See you next month!

Maddie Gets a Bath

Maddie loves playing outdoors.  When she found a rather large pile of sand and mud, we had to give her a sink bath before she could be set free in the house.  She was calm at first.  However, she soon grew tired of the water and put up quite the fight!

After Maddie was squeaky-clean, we gave her extra treats and snuggles!

Maddie Jumps into January

January has been an exciting month for Maddie and surprisingly, Link is finally warming up to his sister.  Link has been standoffish and uninterested in Maddie since we adopted her and now he is willing to play with her occasionally and does not always run away when she gets close.  He will still hit Maddie for no reason and try to bully her away from her food dish. However, she holds her own and shows him more love than I could.

When the weather permits, we open the glass doors and let the trio explore the backyard.  Lately, Maddie has become more curious about her surrounds.  As you may remember, she climbed into our neighbor's yard a few months ago and it was not a pleasant experience.  This month, she discovered a fence on the other side of the yard.

Maddie climbed the fence while I wasn't looking.

She was nervous at first but soon gained her courage.

I could not believe how easily she was moving around on the fence.

It was at this point that I realized Maddie was really going to go over the fence.

So of course, I snapped one last picture!

It took me a good bit of time to get Maddie out of the neighbor's yard because she was fascinated by his plants.  Maddie was only willing to come home after she smelled and tasted his plants.  Since this day, Maddie tries to visit our neighbor's yard almost every time she goes outside!

See you next month!
